Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ashleigh Caplin is a graduate of Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in Massachusetts. She has been involved in several community outreach veterinary programs, including a trip to the Dominican Republic where she brought back her very own "coconut retriever". Dr. Caplin's special interests include internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, and preventative care through client education. She is the newest addition to our VCA team and recent transplant to the area from New England. Away from the office, Dr. Caplin enjoys horseback riding, training for extreme obstacle course races, and spending time with her fiancé and pets. "I grew up on a farm and always wanted to become a veterinarian. I could not ask for a more fulfilling career than one where I can strengthen the human-animal bond while practicing cutting-edge medicine."
