Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ashley Hampton, our Chief of Staff, grew up in Lewisburg, West Virginia and currently lives in Durham, North Carolina. She received an undergraduate degree from Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, WV and a DVM degree from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Hampton boasts years of experience practicing at many veterinary hospitals, including: Seventy-First Animal Hospital in Fayetteville, NC; South Arundel Veterinary Hospital in Edgewater, MD; Loudoun Veterinary Service in Purcellville, VA; Green Valley Animal Hospital in Ijamsville, MD; and Falconbridge Animal Hospital in Durham. Her special interests include dermatology, senior pet care, and internal medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Hampton enjoys gardening, hiking, spending time with her family, reading, and community volunteer work. She has a Labrador Retriever named Hope, a Mastiff named Rue, a Chow Chow named Mandy, a Maine Coon cat named Windy, and four neon tetra fish, lovingly named Bow, Coco, Layla, and Taco by her daughter.
