Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jessica Schoell is a 2004 graduate of University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, and emergency medicine. She started her veterinary career in a small animal practice where she received hands- on training caring for exotic pets. However, the siren song of emergency veterinary medicine was too strong to ignore and she moved into emergency care full time after two years of general practice. After a few years of really strange working hours, she decided that a better sleeping schedule and improved family time was more important, and made the transition back to general practice (doing emergency from time to time). In her free time, Dr. Schoell enjoys making jewelry, quilting, playing with her small pack of dogs, and chasing her toddler around the house.
