I became acquainted with Dr. Kim at Hudson Highlands about four years ago when I switched vets because I was not happy with my previous vet with the level of care my pets received. I believe Dr. Kim had just started employment with Hudson Highlands. We immediately connected as I liked his superior veterinary skills and also the way he treated his patients. I liked the fact that he was a graduate of Cornell Veterinary School. I valued his diagnosis with whatever medical issue would arise and course of treatment. When it was time to say goodbye to my trusted friend, he was so compassionate and made me feel I was making the right decision. I never had this type of rapport with a vet in the past. Not only was he a good vet but also a nice person who really cared about you and your pet. After all he was a pet owner as well amd faced some health challenges with his pets so he knew how difficult those times could be. I was saddened when he told me that he was leaving the practice to pursue other opportunities. I miss him greatly and so do my pets but I understand. I stayed with the practice, but I don’t feel I have the same level of care as I did with Dr. Kim.
I bring all 6 dogs to him. Trust him implicitly. Thank you!
Doctor Kim was excellent with all four of our dogs especially our dog Rowan who has a thyroid issue and suffered from pancreatitis. Was always so accommodating and would go out of his way for his patients. Our dogs loved him and we never trusted someone more with our dogs. Unfortunately Dr. Kim no longer works at Hudson Highlands and they won’t tell us where he went.

I, my Harry, saw Dr. Kim elsewhere. I am glad I tracked him doe because he is so good with Harry in every way. We'll see you when Harry needs a check up! 😊😻
