Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Dave Haeussler is the founder of Animal Care Centers of Cincinnati, who ?have been ?named "Cincinnati's Best Veterinarian?s?"? for the past 6 consecutive years!? Dr. Dave was admitted to Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine after only 3 years of undergraduate work at Ohio State University?, (when most students requiring 4 years or more)?. After ?a year in practice, he started the Fairfield Animal Hospital in July of 1980. Dr. Dave enjoys all facets of veterinary medicine and surgery but is specifically interested in management, dermatology, behavior, pediatrics? and surgery?. Dr Dave ?particularly ?enjoys mentoring and advising younger doctors and speaking at The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine and veterinary conferences. Among other innovations, he created the first of it's kind internship for veterinarians who want to own their own practice. Dr. Dave is a member of American Animal Hospital Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, Cincinnati Veterinary Medical Association, and Butler -Warren County Veterinary Medical Association. He is Past President of the Student Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio State University Chapter, and member of Omega Tau Sigma Fraternity. He is listed as a life member of "Who's Who in Veterinary Medicine" and is qualified to be a member of Mensa.? All of Dr Dave's adult children and/or their spouses are all involved in his growing family veterinary business. When he is not working, Dr. Dave ?enjoys ?li?f?e on his farm in Lebanon, OH with his wife ?of 40 years; ?Mary?,? ?with? all their ?grandkids and ?animals.
