Veterinarian Overview
Dr. John Jones grew up in Northwest Ohio graduating from Liberty Center High School. He inherited his interest in veterinary medicine from his father Marvin Jones who was a state veterinarian for northern Ohio. John graduated cum laude from Ohio State with a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture. For veterinary school, he also attended Ohio State graduating in 1991. For the next year he lived in Morocco serving as a Peace Corp volunteer. He worked in a large animal practice in a small town on the edge of the Sahara Desert.John met his wife Sheri after starting work at High Point in January 1993. They were married in 1998 and have three daughters, Morgan, Sydney, and Jenna. In their free time the Jones family enjoys travel, gardening, and of course Ohio State football.Dr. Jones enjoys small animal medicine and surgery with a special interest in ultrasound imaging and endoscopy.
