Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Dooley was born and raised in Tulsa, OK in a medically dominant household. She knew from an early age that she would most likely pursue something in the medical field. Veterinary medicine really became her focus when she was introduced to horses at the age of 4. At 7 she moved with her family to Jenks, conveniently right down the street from the Woodland West Animal Hospital and Pet Resort complex. She began volunteering with the Pet Resort at the age of 14 and was soon a permanent fixture during her high school and undergraduate years. She received her Bachelors of Science in Physiology from OSU and went on to pursue her Veterinary Degree, graduating in 2010. She was initially drawn to emergency medicine and worked for the Animal Emergency Center for 4 years. When her husband, Clint, a Special Forces Sniper, returned home after a three year stint in Germany and four deployments, she decided to move back to her roots, and reached out to Woodland West Animal Hospital where she was welcomed with open arms. She started working with us in February 2014 and has fallen in love not only with day practice medicine, but the staff as well.. and the staff loves her back!
