Dr. Ellis and staff were incredible when my daughter and I brought our Brussels Griffon in for his 3rd exam after he had been diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Ellis lovingly and patiently gave us the same diagnoses the others had given without us telling her a thing. She was so kind and wonderful, much kinder than his Vet that I had taken him to for 8 years and 5 mos who never even said she was sorry. As Max got sicker, we took him back to Dr. Ellis and she helped him thru the dying process and as I had to be out of town, my daughter took him into HER to help him pass on with dignity. Dr. Ellis and staff could not have been any kinder throughout the whole horrific process. Max meant the world to my daughter and me. He was funny, obedient, loving, sweet and oh so wonderful. We were devastated to lose him. Thank God for people like Dr. Ellis and her staff who helped us through.
As a result of the quietness and the absence in our home, after awhile, we have managed to adopt a part Brussels Griffon and he's wonderful. Not as obedient as Max or as well trained, if you know what I mean, but oh my gosh have we taken to this big browned eyed precious dog with all the love we can muster. It took my daughter awhile and I came around a little quicker but he's the love of our life now. Does he replace Max? No. But he's a fabulous companion that we love very much and Dr. Ellis of course is our new Vet!!!! Hold on tight to ALL of your loved ones as you never know how long you'll have them.....
