Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lacy Michael Strom hails from the small town of Bennettsville, South Carolina. He attended Marlboro County High School, where he was involved in varsity tennis and wrestling, various academic/service organizations, and reached the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. He graduated in 2004 and attended the University of South Carolina. While at Carolina, Dr. Strom served on the Universitys Religious Affairs Committee and founded the Pre-Veterinary Club. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with a Bachelor of Arts in religious studies in 2008. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Dr. Strom was accepted into the University of Georgias College of Veterinary Medicine, where he graduated from in May 2013. Dr. Strom takes special interest in small animal cardiology, surgery, and diagnostic imaging. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their two pets, a Shetland sheepdog named Solon and a black ninja cat named Bruce. During his free time, he is an avid science fiction fan, a lover of books, an amateur coffee connoisseur, and enjoys spending a quiet afternoon on the lake fishing.
