Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Matthew Lackey is a native Memphian and a graduate of St. Georges University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he was inducted in to Phi Zeta Honor Society. Before veterinary school, Dr. Lackey worked as a veterinary technician, which confirmed his desire to become a veterinarian. He is a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in East Memphis. Dr. Lackey enjoys spending time with his family including his wife Laura and son Liam. In his spare time he can be found playing outside with Liam, doing yard work, or watching sports. Their dogs CJ, a rescue from the Caribbean, and Arya, a Rottweiler, bring a lot of joy to their family.
