Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ashley Opyt was born in raised in Austin and is a 2012 graduate of Texas A&M Universitys College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined our team in 2014. She decided to become a veterinarian based on her love of animals and her interest in biology and medicine. She has a special interest in emergency medicine and the management of chronic disease. Dr. Opyt shares her home with a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Sam and a black Lab named Johnny. Her time off is filled with her love of dock diving with her dogs and her passion for reading. She believes that Westlakes dedication to providing the highest quality medicine to the pets that we treat makes this an exceptional place to practice.
