Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Bill Campbell was raised in Austin and graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University in 1975. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1978 and moved back to Austin in 1980. In 1983, he became an owner/partner at Anderson Mill Animal Clinic. After practicing veterinary medicine at Anderson Mill for 26 years, Dr. Campbell opened Parmer Lane Pet Hospital in 2006, and sold Anderson Mill shortly thereafter. His professional interests include soft tissue surgery, geriatric health care, and avian medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA), the Capital Area Veterinary Medical Association (CAVMA), and the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice. Dr. Campbell married his wife Linda while in veterinary school and they have four children and six grandchildren. When outside the office, Dr. Campbell can usually be found out on Lake Austin, at the gym, or working at home maintaining his National Wildlife Federation Certified Natural Habitat yard. He also enjoys playing handball, reading, traveling to historical sites, birdwatching, genealogy, vexillology, and of course spending time with the kids and grandkids.
