Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kelley Dees-Atkinson grew up in Coppell and graduated from Coppell High School before attending Texas A&M University. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science. Dr. Dees received her DVM from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary medicine in 2005. She has a special interest in feline medicine and spent her externship at a feline only practice in Houston during her final year of veterinary school. While a student at Texas A&M, Dr. Dees lived and worked for over four years at the Stevenson Companion Animal Life-Care Center where she experienced first hand the unique health needs of geriatric patients. Dr. Dees is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Dr. Dees lives in Coppell, Texas with her husband, son, and 3 cats; Michael OĆShaughnessy, Henry, and Calvin. In her spare time Dr. Dees enjoys traveling, dancing, skiing, and spending time with her family.
