Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Marcum has owned and operated Animal Medical & Surgical Hospital Of Frisco since April 15, 1995. He opened Animal Hospital of Frisco in June of 2000. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1991. Prior to attending veterinary school, he earned his bachelors degree in Agricultural Economics in 1987. He also earned a degree in Marketing, Business, and Veterinary Science.His professional affiliates include: The American Veterinary Medical Association and the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Marcum can be found on most weekends enjoying time with his son at the ranch in Oklahoma, where he runs a cow-calf operation. He also enjoys flying, horseback riding, and scuba diving.
