Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Borovik had taken a long journey to get to the place of her dreams, Falcon Pass Animal Hospital. Born and raised in Moscow, Russia, after graduating with MS degree in Biotechnology, she packed her clothes, got on a plane, and headed to Houston to become a research assistant at Baylor College of Medicine. The dream of becoming a Veterinarian was constantly on her mind, and in the fall of 2001 everything fell in place: the letter form Cumming's School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University arrived in mail with its first words being "It's our pleasure to inform you, that..". She was accepted to a veterinary school! After four incredibly hard, sleepless, fun-filled years she found herself at a progressive veterinary practice just North of New York City. Practicing great quality veterinary medicine under mentorship of an excellent highly experienced veterinarian set a tone to the rest of her carrier. Two years later Borovik family moved to Clear Lake area of Houston where Dr. Borovik continued to practice and enhance her veterinary skills. In her 10 years of being a practicing veterinarian, Dr. Borovik realized that she wanted to create an animal hospital that is rare to find. She wanted the atmosphere of the hospital make patients and employees feel at home. She envisioned this clinic to be modern and well-equipped, but offering affordable veterinary services at the same time. The foundation for this veterinary clinic of her dreams would be 3 things: Knowledge, Compassion, and Honesty. And she strongly believes, that Falcon Pass Animal Hospital is just that, a cozy little animal clinic with variety of high quality affordable services, providing outstanding honest patient care, employing latest advances of veterinary medicine - all that for residents of communities of Clear Lake area of Houston. Dr. Borovik is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and Harris County Veterinary Medical Association. She loves travelling, baking, sewing, and just hanging out with her family.
