Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Martinez has been a part of Heights Hospital for Animals since June 2014. After graduating from Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993, Dr. Martinez received the American Animal Hospital Association Award for Clinic Proficiency in Medicine and Surgery. He practiced for 17 years in a small animal practice before joining the Heights Hospital. Dr. Martinez is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the Harris County VMA and he is also a member of the International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, as well as, the American Animal Hospital Association. Dr. Martinez's special interest is Small Animal Internal Medicine, surgery and dermatology. Dr. Martinez and his wife Caroline have 3 children and a Schnauzer named 'Lol'. He also enjoys traveling, exercising and cooking with his family.
