Veterinarian Overview
grew up on the coast of Maine. Since I grew up on the coast, I dreamt of becoming a marine biologist. I really wanted to train Shamu! My family moved to Katy, Texas in 1997 where I attended Katy High School. During those years my after school job was with a veterinarian in Katy. That doctor inspired and encouraged me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. After high school I attended Texas A&M University, where I achieved my Bachelor of Science in Animal Science & Biomedical Science. My dreamof being a marine biologist had faded and all I really wanted was to become a veterinarian. I was accepted to school at Texas A&M University where I graduated with my DVM degree in 2009. I truly enjoybeing a voice for our dearest friends. I have been practicing in Georgetown for the last 6 years and am very excited to join the team at Pfennig Lane Animal Hospital. My professional passions are surgery, preventative care, client education and dentistry. I met my husband Sean in my years at Texas A&M, we recently welcomed our son Nathaniel. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy snow skiing and going to the lake on hot Texas summer days! I have 2 Siberian Huskies(Wesley & Charlie) and a cat named George.
