Veterinarian Overview
Sherri was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and always wanted to be a Veterinarian. She grew up with horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. When she graduated from high school, she went on to college at Texas A&M University where she received her doctorates degree in Veterinary Medicine. Sherri returned to San Antonio after graduation and started her career as a veterinarian. She worked at O'Connor Road Animal Hospital until she went out on her own in 1997. In 2000, Sherri and her husband, Jim, decided to build a new freestanding hospital, which is now known as Spring Creek Animal Hospital. Sherri and Jim have two wonderful children, Rachel and John, along with eight Arabian horses that their daughter shows, five cats and three dogs. In her spare time, she runs the Alamo Arabian Horse Association Youth Club. Her hobbies including showing her Arabian horses and trail riding.
