Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Myrick is both an endurance runner and a mountain biker. He loves fishing, hiking, photography and enjoys kayaking. His dog Rudy can often be seen running right along his side since 2015. He is also a basketball coach for one of the local schools. He is married, Jill, and has two sons, Mitchell and Jonah.Robert Myrick, DVM graduated from Westminster College of Salt Lake City earning degrees in biology and chemistry. He attended Colorado State University and graduated with his doctorate in 2000. He has certifications in laser therapy/surgery and PennHip. He has advanced training in dentistry, plastic surgery, ophthalmic and abdominal surgery. Dr. Myrick has special interest in endoscopy having completed several advanced courses in both rigid, flexible endoscopy as well as laproscopy. He has been a member of the UVMA and AVMA since 2000 and has served on the ethics board for the state of Utah for veterinary medicine for 3 years. He has part owned Oquirrh Hills Veterinary Center since 2004.
