Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Alexandra Stocks is a lifelong resident of Northern Virginia and currently resides in Reston with her husband, two cats, and two dogs. After graduating from The College of William and Mary with dual bachelor of science degrees in biology and environmental science, she spent time as a park ranger and a geologist before returning to school to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia Tech. She joined the Town & Country team in 2007. Her professional interests include abdominal ultrasound, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Stocks is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the D.C. Academy of Veterinary Medicine, and the Phi Zeta Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine.
