Veterinarian Overview
Signal Hill Animal Clinic is now able to offer the services of a Board Certified Surgical Specialist right here in our own practice! Dr. Tibor Lazar is a Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, and brings with him the capacity to do specialized surgical procedures that otherwise would have to be referred to a separate specialty practice. This helps keep the overhead down allowing for approximately 20-30% lower cost for specialty orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Lazar is a board-certified veterinary surgeon who performs orthopedic and complex soft tissue surgery here at Signal Hill Animal Clinic. He earned his Bachelor degree from the University of Virginia and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed internships at the Animal Medical Center in New York City and Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Maitland, Florida, where he also completed his surgical residency. He achieved Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2003.
