Veterinarian Overview
Ever since Dr. Greenwalt was a small child, she knew that "veterinary medicine was my purpose in life." Sarah has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1986 and joined the established team at Locke A Taylor D.V.M. Animal Medicine and Science in 2009. Dr. Greenwalt earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, and says that she works often in eye care, behavioral counseling and exotic pets. Dr. Greenwalt is a member of the American Veterinary Medicine Association. Dr. Greenwalt teaches veterinary technology part-time at Northern Virginia Community College. Her veterinary skills have taken her all the way to France, while in the final year of veterinary school, she interned at a clinic in Limoges, France.
