Veterinarian Overview
Terry Pollock, DVM, CVA Dr. Pollock had the privilege of living with a variety of different animals growing up such as horses, cows, pigs, chicken, ducks, dogs, cats, parakeets and rabbits. She became passionate about helping animals achieve their optimum health and quality of life. Following this passion, she graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Science in Veterinary Science and then continued on to receive a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. Her experience includes working with exotics and small animals in Texas, working with the SPCA in San Diego, California and for the past 15 years practicing in a small animal hospital in Falls Church. Having a strong desire to provide an improved quality of life for her patients beyond conventional medicine, she then became certified in Veterinary Acupuncture from the Chi Institute in Gainesville, Florida. She has also completed the course work to become certified in Chinese Veterinary Food Therapy. Her professional goals are to provide gentle and personalized care for each patient using Acupuncture, Herbs, and Food Therapy. Her greatest joy is improving her patients mobility and quality of life. Dr. Pollock is a member of the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture and American Veterinary Medical Association.
