Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kathy is a long time resident of Fredericksburg, having attended Maury, Walker-Grant, and James Monroe (1978). Dr. Kathy graduated Magna cum laude from Duke University in 1981 and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia Tech in 1988. Dr. Kathy established Just Cats Veterinary Clinic in January of 1996. She resides on her farm in Stafford County with a thoroughbred named Dodge the Bullet, a 10 year old Cavalier named Ollie and two cats adopted from the hospital. Pete was abandoned as a tiny infant and Napoleon, a manx, has his occasional issues. Her son, Alden, is in graduate school at the Medical College of Virginia. Emily, her daughter, attends the College of William & Mary. In her free time, Dr. Kathy enjoys sailing on both coasts, ACC sports, reading and spending time with friends and family.
