Veterinarian Overview
We are very pleased to announce the addition of Dr Maie Takahashi to o ur team! A graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr Maie (pronounced My) brings a fresh perspective and good-natured spirit to Beverly Hills Small Animal Hospital. Her undergraduate years were spent at UC Davis, studying Animal Science and working at the prestigious William R Pritchard Veterinary Teaching Hospital. From there, she was accepted into Ross University where she pursued and completed her veterinary degree, which included a clinical year at the Purdue University of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked in the veterinary field for over 9 years, most recently employed at the San Gabriel Humane Society, providing exceptional care to the many dogs and cats that come through their doors. For the past 5 months, Dr Maie has been working closely with both our staff and clients, learning the ins-and-outs of BHSAH and further honing her already remarkable diagnostic and surgical skills. In addition to caring for the pets of Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, Dr Maie herself is devoted to her three dogs and three cats; half of which she rescued off the streets of St Kitts and flew across the country to live with her in Pasadena. Fluent in three languages (Japanese, Mandarin, and English), Dr Maie is an extremely well-rounded individual, and we feel fortunate to call her our newest associate. She will be seeing walk-ins Monday, Friday, and Saturday mornings, as well as Wednesday afternoons. She will be taking appointments Monday and Friday afternoons, as well as Wednesday mornings.
