Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Prather Has now joined our clinic. You may recognize her from working at another veterinary clinic here in Chico, where she developed quite a cliental from her professional, easy going style of veterinary medicine. We feel very fortunate. that she is at the Chico Animal Hospital. Dr. Prather graduated from the U.C. Davis veterinary college in 1994. She practiced in Sonora for a while before moving to Chico. Dr. Prather, along with her Practice of traditonal veterinary medicine, also does acupuncture and physical rehabilitation therapy on animals. She is also becoming a certified doctor of herbal medicine for animals. Dr. Prather enjoys skiing, running, mountian biking and spending time with her son, Kade, as well as her cats and dog.
