Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Alex Frederick joined the our team in August 2016. He graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in biology, received his DVM from UC Davis, and did a rotating internship in Toronto Canada. Before joining the team at VCA North Park Animal Hospital he worked at a small animal practice in Santa Rosa. His special interests are Dermatology and Dentistry, but most of all his favorite part of being a veterinarian is the animals. Dr. Frederick lives in Santa Rosa with his wife and darling daughter. Their home is full of furry friends: a three legged dog named Peggy, Terrance (Peggys son), and a cat named Starvin Marvin. Outside of work Alex enjoys spending time with his family, drawing, painting, mountain biking and computers. His enthusiastic energy and captivating sense of humor have made him highly valued by all.
