Veterinarian Overview
Her deep love of animals made it apparent from a very early age that Dr. Aubry was destined to become a veterinarian. Fortunately for clients, patients and colleagues who rely on her expertise, this passion and dedication continue today. After receiving a B.S. from Cornell University in 2000, Dr. Aubry earned her DVM from Kansas State University in 2004. During her final year at KSU she was a member of Phi Zeta, the honor society of veterinary medicine. Dr. Aubry then completed an oncology internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists in Tampa before finishing her residency at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Dr. AubryÂ’s main goals are to ensure the accurate diagnosis of cancer patients and to provide the most appropriate and up-to-date treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy. She works closely with surgeons and radiation oncologists in providing this care. Dr. Aubry also strives to seek treatments that will help extend both life and quality of life in a mutually beneficial way for patients and clients. In order to stay current on veterinary oncology advancements, Dr. Aubry earns continuing education credits at least twice a year. She also is an active member of the Veterinary Cancer Society, Veterinary Society of Surgical Oncology, Wolf and Education Research Center, Save the Manatees Club, and Alpha Omicron Pi.
