Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Keri Franco is a Southern California native who attended Occidental College and earned her DVM degree from the University of California a Davis in 2005. After her graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Franco completed a one-year general internship at Sonora Veterinary Specialists in Phoenix, Arizona, followed by an additional yearlong internship in zoo, exotic, and wildlife medicine at Oklahoma State University. During her time at Oklahoma State, Dr. Franco was recognized with a Phi Zeta Society research award and wrote articles for veterinary journals about rabbit respiratory disease, thyroid hormones in tortoises, and avian blood chemistry.
