Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Vanessa Aberman is the daughter of a veterinarian and is a native of Los Angeles. She has been in practice for nearly 20 years and has finally landed at a terrific practice near to her home. She was medical director of a veterinary practice for 12 years in the San Fernando Valley. Because she didn't have enough to do with a husband and two boys and managing a busy practice, she decided to become a boarded specialist in canine and feline practice in 2011. As a result of her diplomat statue, she was promoted to Area Medical Director where she mentored new veterinarians, and coached and educated hospital teams regarding best medical practices. The more she became an agent of management, the more she realized she missed being a neighborhood veterinarian. Luckily, she landed at Larchmont Animal Clinic over a year ago and has truly enjoyed being back in practice. She has a special interest in dentistry, internal medicine and team education. When she isn't working or stopping by work to call clients, she does try to have a life. She boxes everyday (look out Mayweather), hangs with her boys and amazing husband, chills with the menagerie of pets at her house (2 cats, one dog, one tortoise and 4 chickens). She enjoys traveling, being a amateur mixologist, and doing various demolition and building projects around her house.
