Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Wendy Brooks has been the owner and Medical Director of the Mar Vista Animal Medical Center since 1997. She is a board certified specialist in Canine and Feline Practice and Educational Director for VeterinaryPartner.com (a branch of the Veterinary Information Network). She has authored all of the information articles available in the extensive libraries of this web site. The "Ask the Vet" function on the home page connects directly to her email address (
[email protected]) where she is happy to answer questions about your pet's care directly. Dr. Brooks is a native of the Los Angeles area, but attended Mount Holyoke College, graduating with high honors in 1983. She graduated from the University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988, followed by an internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. She is available for appointments Friday through Monday and every other Thursday.
