Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lucia joined Olympic Pet Hospital in 2015 as a full-time associate veterinarian. She is a second generation veterinarian who assisted her father at his animal hospital from the age of 10. She has always had a love for all animals, particularly dogs, cats, and pocket pets. She received her Bachelors degree from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Lucia graduated with honors from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a clinical year of small and large animal rotations at Oklahoma State University.Dr. Lucia has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and internal medicine. She is a proud member of the AVMA and currently resides in the San Fernando Valley with her feline son Skylar, a cuddly 3- year-old rescued Siamese mix. During her free time, Dr. Lucia enjoys hiking, trying new restaurants, cooking, and practicing yoga.
