Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Maureen Dorsey is the hospital owner and director. A UC Davis graduate, she began her career in veterinary medicine as a kennel assistant, became a groomer, completed an associates degree in animal health technology, and worked as a virology technician for the Center of Reproduction of Endangered Species at the San Diego Zoo before going to UC Davis for a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. While attending the college, she also assisted in research of Feline Immunodeficiency Virus in Niels Pedersons laboratory.
