Veterinarian Overview
Edward Attix received both his BS in physiology (1975) and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (1980) from the University of California, Davis. He has been in practice at Pacific Animal Hospital since 1981. Dr. Attix is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the California Veterinary Medical Association, the San Diego County Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Attix is a boarded specialist and is a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) specializing in canine and feline medicine. Read about Dr. Attixs credentials. Dr. Attix has a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dentistry, pain management, and both canine and feline internal medicine. When not at the hospital, Dr. Attix enjoys reading, music, traveling, paddle boarding, and baseball. He is blessed with five children, three grandchildren, one golden retriever, two dachshunds, and one wacky cat.
