Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Black's career began in the farmlands of the Midwest. He found his way west after graduation from U of IL and received his doctorate in veterinary medicine at Oklahoma St. He spent some early years working in the zoo field and horse work but his true calling was in the small animal field of medicine. Dr. Black has owned OCPC since 1995 and for the most part has been it's only doctor. He doesn't limit his work to just dogs and cats, but sees a good number of "pocket pets", birds and reptiles. He is an accomplished surgeon and an excellent diagnostician. In his free time he likes to head up to the local mountains to play. He enjoys boating, hiking, and quad riding. He is blessed with two great kids Rebecca and Chase. He is very proud of their many achievements. He has a Labrador, Dakota, a Siamese, Asia, and raises finches for fun. He usually works 6 (sometimes 7) days a week and has kept that schedule since he started. He is always reachable if you have any pet question and he looks forward to meeting clients, new and existing.
