Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Cannon received her Bachelors degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis. After an internship in Southern California, she completed a residency in veterinary dermatology at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Cannon is board certified the American College of Veterinary Dermatology.While in residency, Dr. Cannon was awarded a fellowship in human dermatology at the University of Miami School of Medicine. After completing her residency, Dr. Cannon spent a year teaching dermatology at the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital in Davis.Dr. Cannon has a special interest in laser surgery, immunology and allergy. She has spoken at veterinary conferences worldwide including The Netherlands, Czech Republic, South Korea and numerous conferences in the US.Dr. Cannon began her private dermatology practice in 1997 and maintains her main practice in Rocklin, (Sacramento) CA. She also maintains practices in Modesto, Ca. Fresno, Ca. and Boise Idaho.In their free time, Dr. Cannon and her husband enjoy hiking and flying airplanes.
