Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jayson Johnston grew up in Seattle, WA where he earned his Bachelor's of Science in Biology with a Minor in Aquatic and Fishery Sciences from the University of Washington. He then moved to Southern California to obtain his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Western University in Pomona, CA. Dr. Johnston continued his tour of the West Coast by completing his rotating small animal internship at VCA San Francisco Veterinary Specialists. The Bay Area suited him well and he decided to stay while working as an emergency clinician at several of the areas specialty hospitals. In 2016, he joined All Pets Hospital to continue his passion in exotic medicine and primary care. Dr. Johnstons areas of interest include aquatic medicine, surgery, neurology, and endocrinology. In his free time, Dr. Johnston can be found exploring wine country, hosting dinner parties, playing kickball on his rec league, watching satirical comedy shows, traveling, and glamping with friends.
