Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jennifer Balaban completed her undergraduate studies in Animal Science at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She then received her veterinary degree in Edinburgh, Scotland, at the University of Edinburgh, graduating with distinction. While she enjoyed rainy Scotland, she is thrilled to be back in the California sunshine and practicing at North Peninsula Veterinary Emergency. Dr. Balaban enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a special interest in the fields of emergency and internal medicine. She loves building long term relationships with her patients and clients. In her free time, she loves to cook, eat, exercise, and spend time at the beach. She currently lives in Millbrae with her well-traveled Papillion mix, Roo and her ginger kitty, Hamish.
