Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Holmes pursued veterinary medicine to improve the quality of life for our non-speaking companions. After receiving her degree in Veterinary Medicine, she completed an intensive internship at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York City. There she received advanced training in Internal Medicine, Surgery and Critical Care. She is a past-president of the Santa Barbara Ventura Veterinary Medical Association (2006-2007). Dr. Holmes has volunteered in multiple spay/neuter programs, and has worked locally with ResQCats. She has donated 6 weeks of time so far to the Ester Honey Foundation to improve the quality of life for the animals of the South Pacific.
