Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Autumn Fanning grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley and has returned to serve the communitys veterinary needs. She attended undergraduate and veterinary school at Oregon State University in Corvallis , OR. Following veterinary school she moved with her husband to the island of Oahu in Hawaii and practiced at Oahu Equine Veterinary Clinic and Haiku Veterinary Clinic for over four years. Her mixed animal experiences on Oahu prepared her for owning and running her own mixed animal practice in California. Oahu lacks many of the referral centers commonly available on the mainland, especially for large animals, and this created opportunities for Dr. Fanning to manage many complicated cases. Now that she has returned home to Santa Ynez she very much enjoys spending time with her daughter Aspen, husband Josh, and animals Teak the Jack Russel and Congo the cat! She is involved with her familys tasting room Imagine Wine in Santa Ynez, and donates her time to local 4-H and FFA activities.
