Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Shana Schank was born in Toronto, Canada and started riding horses at a very young age. She moved with her family to northern California and grew up riding and working at a small animal clinic. Dr. Schank attended Iowa State University for her undergraduate studies and veterinary school. She moved back to California and did an equine internship where she gained valuable hands on experience and increased her practice skills. Dr. Schank then worked for Oak Leaf Equine Veterinary Care in Los Olivos where she enjoyed getting to know clients and being a part of their horses care. Dr. Schank joined Vets Here! Mobile Veterinary Service in 2015 and she loves the variety of animals that we work with.
