Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Chelsea Davidson has been a member of the PetÂ’s Friend Animal Clinic medical team since 2004. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, Dr. DavidsonÂ’s decision to become a veterinarian was influenced by her childhood dog, a golden retriever named Rebel. Her work passion is nurturing the bond between people and their pets. Dr. Davidson attended Clemson University where she routinely made the DeanÂ’s List and was a member of the Clemson rowing team. In 1996, she entered Texas A&M UniversityÂ’s College of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. During veterinary school she was honored with the Human-Animal Bond Award. Dr. Davidson is a member of the AVMA, CVMA, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Dr. Davidson and her husband are parents of twins, a boy and girl. She and her family share their home with Tanner, an enthusiastic golden retriever. She has become an expert at balancing a busy life and enjoys baking, running, reading, and crossword puzzles.
