Veterinarian Overview
Dr Jennifer Case was born and raised in Los Gatos. She attended UC Santa Cruz for her undergraduate degree, received her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2006 at the Ohio State University, and completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery at Steinbeck Country Equine Clinic. She spent a few years in equine practice before transitioning to small animal general practice. As a small animal veterinarian, she has been grateful to help pets and their families at all life stages. In particular, she saw the importance of compassionate end of life care in honoring the bond between pet and owner. Dr Cases personal experience with home euthanasia was with her beloved childhood cat Pye-Pye. Pye-Pye did not enjoy car rides, and was very nervous at the vets office. With home hospice care, she was able to receive the care that she needed without stressful trips to the veterinarians office. When the time came to say goodbye, she was surrounded by her family in the comfort of her own home. That experience showed Dr Case the value of in home end-of-life care. At Restful Paws, Dr Case is proud to provide compassionate end of life care, for pets and their families in the comfort of their own home
