Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Patricia Lowe was born in New York and raised in Northern California. She attended UC Davis and earned a bachelors degree in animal science in 2001. A 2005 graduate of Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Lowe traveled back west after graduation. For over a decade, Dr. Lowe has worked in small animal medicine both private practice and shelter medicine. While at UC Davis, her roommate mentioned a dog available at the local shelter. As it turned out, he was adopted the same day. But it was meant to be as Dr. Lowe adopted Maddie, a 10 month old Labrador hound mix with boundless energy. Maddie was a master squirrel chaser and always up for adventure. Never too much peanut butter was her motto. In her senior years, Maddie faced liver cancer bravely. She was an inspiration and a trusted companion. Dr. Lowe said goodbye to her sweet Maddie in the summer of 2014. Saying goodbye to a beloved pet member of the family is one of the most difficult decisions to make. Dr. Lowe is honored through Restful Paws to provide in home compassionate end of life care.
