Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Jill André was born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI and earned her DVM degree from Michigan State University in 2003. She practiced in Michigan for 11 years prior to moving with her husband back to his home state of California in 2014. For the past 2 years Dr. André has worked as a part time and relief veterinarian at a number of practices in Northern California. She met Dr. Mary Diedrich at one of these clinics and they began planning for their own hospital in 2015. Dr. André loves all dogs and cats but is particularly fond of Boxers and Golden Retrievers. Her current furry family includes 10 year old Boxer, Cali; 6 year old Yorkie-Pekingese mix, Maxwell; and 4 cats, Spike, Buffy, Phineas and Luna Lovegood. Over the years she has also been a mom to rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, and gerbils. Dr. André’s favorite aspect of being a veterinarian is educating clients on how to best care for their pets; she recommends the same medical care for her patients that she provides for her own pets.
