Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Baker has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1987. He started his veterinary career at Agoura Animal Clinic, and worked at AAC from 1987 to 1998. He was then a sole practitioner of All Cats Clinic in Ventura for one year before he joined forces with his business partners and opened two hospitals under the name of TLC Pet Medical Centers in West Hollywood and South Pasadena. He was the medical director for the West Hollywood location from 1999 to 2013 and then became the medical director at their South Pasadena location in 2013. Dr. Baker has lived in California since moving from Colorado after graduation from Colorado State University in 1987. He lives with his wife Sondra and their two dogs Fanta and Dobby. Dr. Baker is currently an upper level brown belt in Suh Do Kwan Kung Fu and plans on successfully testing for his black belt in late 2017. He and his wife love to travel and have had the opportunity to see such exotic locales as Bali, and several scuba diving locations throughout Indonesia, multiple locations in the Caribbean, cruising in Europe and Alaska, and of course everyones favorite exotic location, Las Vegas. Dr. Baker loves golf, throwing the Aerobie and playing Trac Ball with Sondra. Dr. Baker is an active real estate investor and enthusiast. He loves reading and is constantly educating himself. Dr. Baker loves working with the animals and their families. The challenge of veterinary medicine continues to intrigue him even after twenty nine years of practice. He knows how vitally important it is to have excellent communication with clients. He strongly believes that the best care for our four legged family members comes when there is a combined effort and commitment by both the veterinary staff and our clients.
