Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Cynthia Fiore, originally from Harrison, NY, attended Boston College then went on to Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine where she received her DVM. Dr. Fiore completed a small animal medicine internship at South Shore Veterinary Associates in Weymouth, MA, then worked 3 years in emergency and critical care at a veterinary emergency clinic in Wakefield, MA. Dr. Fiore moved to Southwest Florida in 1990 where she has worked and had ownerships in 3 American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) Hospitals. Dr. Fiore has also been involved with the Peace River Wildlife center in Punta Gorda, Florida as managing medical director. Besides taking over the ownership and operating of Heron Creek Animal Hospital, Dr. Fiore also presently works with Specialized Veterinary Services in Fort Myers Florida as a member of the Emergency and Critical Care Services where 24 hour Emergency and Critical care is available as well as access to Specialists in the area of Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology and Cardiology. Dr. Fiore has a special interest in Emergency and Critical Care Services, Dentistry , Ultrasound and Advance Imaging, Internal Medicine and , Avian and Exotics.Dr. Fiore manages and helps operate a small goat farm and is active with cycling, kayaking, boating and snorkeling.
