Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Cassandra Novak (formerly Dr. Cassandra Zinn) is a graduate of Florida State University and the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She initially started working for our practice in 2010. After getting married and moving up to Spring Hill, Dr. Novak took a short break from our practice from October 2013-June 2015 and began working a little closer to home. However, she recently re-joined our practice in June 2015, and is happy to be a part of the team again. Dr. Novak and her husband Daniel have 1 daughter, Victoria, and a son on the way (due October 2015). They also have 2 dogs, named Mia and Buster, and 1 cat, named Kit Kat. Dr. Novak is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Pinellas County Veterinary Medical Association (PCVMA). She enjoys baking, gardening, dog grooming, and spending time with her family. Her professional interests include animal behavior, dermatology, and internal medicine.
