Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Cliff Barnett is the owner and Director of Animal Hospital of Seminole. He attended Auburn University and received a Bachelor of Science in Animal and Dairy degree in 1980. In 1985 he graduated and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. He worked at Rivera Animal Hospital in St. Petersburg for 5 years and in 1990 he purchased the Animal Hospital of Seminole from the late Wendell Taylor. Dr. Barnett is married to Ruth Barnett and they have 2 children Logan and Carolina. The entire family enjoys fishing, diving and many outdoor sports and activities. The BarnettÂ’s have 2 cats, Billabong and Babalot, and a black lab named Banyan. Dr. Barnett enjoys all aspects of general medicine. He takes a common sense approach to each case and also considers the wants and needs of each pet owner. Each year Dr. Barnett and staff sponsor and work a spay and neuter clinic in rural Belize. This provides the only veterinary care for these animals.
