Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Mike Pridgeon was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. After undergraduate studies at Tallahassee Community College and Florida State University, he graduated and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with honors from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Special interests include internal medicine and cardiology. He is a current member and past president, vice-president, and treasurer of the Big Bend Veterinary Medical Association. He is also a member of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He served a three-year term as District 1 Representative on the Executive Board of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association as well as a term as Treasurer of the Political Action Committee. Dr. Pridgeon is married and has a daughter. The Pridgeon family shares their home with a Calico cat (Lily), a Springer Spaniel (Bradley), a Boston Terrier (Fergie), a rescue Maltese (Allie) and eight fish. Dr. Pridgeon and his family are members of Deerlake United Methodist Church.
